there is a bug that i get, whenever i get to end of ep 1/ start of ep 2, it sends me back to the main menu, i've tried playing from the start again, but it didn't work. I don't know if anyone else has gotten this issue, but i would appreciate any help
I really love the setting, the lore, I can tell there's something there, not on Eternum level but possibly around cosy cafe/ripples like a damn good story..
But holy CRAP hire a proofreader, I thought companion of darkness grammar and spelling issues was rough, it's nigh indecipherable most of the time. Like the characters are having two different conversations, it jumps all over the place, you include the Chinese sayings which are cryptic as hell haha..i even asked my wife who's from Guangzhou and she had no idea wtf it meant 😆
Entire scenes like meeting the sister or entering VR, banter between the characters feels so confusing and bizarre, & they go from new coworkers to lovers instantly
The translation itself seems fine..it's just the syntax, the structure of sentences, I feel like there's some bizarre second step in between, like you translated it from mandarin to Finnish and then into English or something.
Seriously, just an alpha reader or two, someone to rework some of the script, it would do wonders, I really want to like this and totally want it to succeed. I see old comments also mentioning this, so hopefully it's just an issue early on
The ambience, the aesthetic, the models... it is all good.. the story... the have and have nots, the oligarchy and the those dwelling beneath... is an old story that has been done before... but the world and characters can always makes something feel fresh, and these did for me with this.
I did not struggle too much... though fully get what you are saying about the English... though I found a game like DOGMA to be FAR worse, as to almost be nonsensical, so this was not so bad... I actually felt CoD was little worse... but maybe because it was so long there was so much.
I think they had to begin the whole project over... so I would imagine they are now just focused on finishing it, and things like smoother translations for the foreign languages (I believe Chinese is the native language of the dev/devs)... will come retrospectively.
I think this is a damn good game, I actually think the story will be right up there with the best... I think Cosy Cafe's story is a bit simplistic and it is a real slow burn, the first and only complete Adult scene in this game, so far... was already 100 times better than ANY scene in Coozey Cafe: The Spankening... :P And the actual lighting, pacing, blocking, rendering, the fidelity, of the models in this, is to my eyes, actually slightly higher quality than even Eternum.
Just do what I did, read as little as you have to, to get the gist... and just be there for the Waifu Sex... I am SO on board for that. OMG that Elf.... Jesus! She is possibly the best AVN Harem conquest in ANY AVN atm. :P :P :P :P
This game has the most lush, vibrant, and evocative aesthetic of ANY game in this genre I have EVER played.
The character models are GORGEOUS.
The story is.. not bad... but also.. I dont mind if it was, I do not play these games for N part in AVN, but the A part... the A part is BY FAR, leagues more important.
The single complete moment of A in this game was.. GLORIOUS... long, well shot/blocked/angled/lit/phased.... and that sets the bar.
IF this game loads up on the A enough, and the A is of a quality of the first taste.. it will be GOD TIER.

当我玩完永恒之后我以为再也没有其他的能惊艳到我的了，谁知道你给了我一个惊喜，我从未见过如此精致，完美的模型，女路人甚至可以在别的作品当女主！但是我有一个建议，就是可以参考一下永恒的音效，特别是啪啪啪的声音，对比音乐来说，真的太小了！希望可以调大一些，然后最重要的是快点更新！我太期待了！
